Ephesians 6:13-17

Although I didn't get pictures of the entire process, the boys put together a visual demonstration of Ephesians 6:13-17.  This particular verse just lends itself to creative expression.

Step 1: Find the right articles of clothing and make a PILE (thankfully we have a decent accumulation of war-related "dress-up" clothes)

Step 2: Copy the words from the board onto strips of construction paper (James)

Step 3: Tape the words onto the appropriate articles of clothing (Joshua)

Step 4:  Don the ensemble and recite the verse (while Mama takes a picture) The labels weren't long for this world, but it was a fun way to interact with our memory verse.  And James has it down pat!

Ephesians 6:13-17:  "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. ¹⁴ Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, ¹⁵ and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ¹⁷ Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
