Monday was every bit as insane as the weekend was beautiful--and it was a gorgeous weekend. I honestly found myself sitting back, trying to contemplate who or what tipped the universe on its axis today. Mama said there'd be days like this--there'd be days like this, Mama said... I've always hated losing, but today I was brought to my knees in surrender. The heavens opened and brought a cloudburst forth, followed by an hour of intermittent rainbows. Thank you, God for your rescue in the form of watercolored skies and a clean slate.

James' iPad "Diary" app. It allows him to explore greater freedom in writing, without always worrying about the tedium of putting pencil to paper, or the l-e-n-g-t-h of the writing project. Yes, we still know the name Ticonderoga, and use him daily, but this online journaling will hopefully loosen up his creative side. He is already getting used to the keyboarding (i.e. pecking), and getting savvy at pirating google pics for inspiration.
